BTCC at Croft 2 weeks on Sunday.

Its not quite the same as le Mans ( in fact its a long way off to put it mildly)  but its close racing.

However It does require attention though as the races are so short.

Its even possible to camp but without the luxuries of running water or flush toilets, so a bit like Bleu field 2!

I've been persuaded to go by two mates that couldn't make Le Mans this year.

Its the local circuit for me so I couldn't refuse.

Definetely up for  Spa next year though!

Stu.

I WAS a big supporter of BTCC but with a very small field, i gave it a miss after Thruxton earlier this year.

I hope you enjoy the close racing, it only gets good in race 3, when they have time to re-build the cars.

Yep, we will be there as its almost on our doorstep. There will be a bit of a BTCC do on Newcastles quayside on the Friday afternoon too that should be alright, lots of demo runs and the like.

Also its Jim Clark Rally time, if anyone has been before you will know that this is one of the best motorsporting events in Britain, closed public roads just like the Manx and Metro 6R4s and WRC cars barrelling through villages at 130MPH plus Shocked, its on for 3 days, 8-10th July. Its usually free to get to the stages, last year there was a small charge into the most popular areas but its still great.
Camping is available at Kelso racecourse and the bar is open late Grin Grin
See you there!!
