Not going to be able to get there this year Cry

Hope all you boys and girls have a good race, and the rain stays away.

Well the van is all packed again!! (Just unpacked it so I can sell it!)

I have done Paddy NL and Smokie a copy of the Speed Tribe DVD anyone else who wants one I might be able to do a few at the circuit.

I had a few of the Sebring Speed TV DVD's copied that I never got round to sending. If I can find the buggers then I will hand them out.

Should be there if work let me go early arriving about 5pm if not then should arrive about 9pm.

See you all there.

Just realised that i am being taken to the Rugby at Twickenham so i wont get to meet more of you.

Fidget, as entertaining as a trip to Twickenham is, this weekend is only one of many to enjoy the rugby. There is only one Silverstone 1000k a year and you should be there come rain or shine (more like rain I think). Come on you will only regret it later.

Fidget,

I have to agree with Bob on this one.  As much as going to Twickers is a good way to spend a Saturday, and as great as rugby is (despite the Blacks losing to the Boks last weekend), it does not compare to the 1000k!  Tell whomever is taking you to Twickers that you have to do your hair/nails or make up some other random excuse to duck out and get up to Silverstone.

Hi Doris

ANother chick on line, great.

My fella type person takes me to lots of motorsport and i havent been to the Rugby yet, it sounds a great day, so its Twickers ( as its nicknamed ) for me.

Hoping to get the grren light for Le Mans so best keep him sweet.

I think my fella type would also like to be at the 1000 klicks with his mates

All the weather forecasters.com can't agree, so I think we have to accept that there is a chance of rain, but probably not enough/long enough for wet tyres.  This is just what you need for a real 6 hour race (can we get rid of this 1000km thing - it was 500 miles till they got faster.)

Please have one or two for me, as I'm driving to Castle Combe with an 8 am kick off.  Please pm the recipe for Tropicoma before 8pm as I'll need it

...I refuse to accept that it will rain this weekend!...

So this is the reason you left your fleece behind.  You were in denial.  Or was the whole 'Oh no I left my fleece behind and it's a bit chilly' line just a handy get out clause when you couldn't hack the pace any longer and needed a small sleep at 6 in the evening?   Grin

Sheesh you lot are a tough crowd  Wink

I thought it was wiser to allow my core temperature to rise above freezing rather than allow myself to drop into a state of hyperthermia! When you start looing at Andy Zarses "fishermans friend" rain mac and wishing you had one, it's time to admit defeat and retreat to a safe distance  Grin

Besides, you lot buggered off without telling me  Roll Eyes Grin

We didn't want to wake you as we thought you'd be a bit grouchy.

Shall we start a list of the things you missed?   Wink

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!
