I think there will be two entries from Team JPC this year, one lard arse effort and one light weight (not sure who would be in this one!!).

Look forward to the regs.

Can you enlight me again please Bobblehat.
Is it gonna be with pedals or will there be an engine fitted? The latter might be more fun, though more dangerous aswell Roll Eyes

Le Mans green prize for 2006

Wednesday, 22 June 2005

Le Mans 24h  The Automobile Club de l’Ouest will offer a new envionment award at the Le Mans 24 Hours starting in 2006. The award will be presented to the team considered by the ACO to have been the most environmentally friendly and will take into consideration aspects such as fuel consumption, noise and emissions.

To help the teams prepare for the new competition, at last weekend’s race, the ACO set up a series of timing and recording points around the circuit to gather data based on those parameters. The teams can request this data to help with their preparations for 2006.

Bobblehat, I hope your specs will also include weight penalties for those teams that have the advantage of small members.  Team JPC and I is one of them suffer in the weight category, we could count our "light" members on one of Rotti's thumbs.

In the topic about who isn't coming in 2006, the following can be read>>

Whitey. If all goes to plan (strange phrasing I know! But if every thing goes right with Tom.... Grin) it will be you and me both! Cry

But then again................................

I might get to The Classic tho Cheesy

So does that mean the end to the 24 minutes? What's the story, Bobblehat? Embarrassed
