Thanks for all the posts on the Fave Car, quite interesting in terms of diversity.
Its probably too late now, but who's everyones fave driver.
For me its a no brainer, has to be Mr Bell. Closely followed by the rainmeister himself Mr Stuck ( not sure of spelling)

Well, we don't have a lot of famous Belgians, so the ones we have need all our support.

Bell for me too at the top, followed by JJ Lehto - particularly impressive in the wet.

There are so many to choose here, but I have to agree with Bell, and also Kristensen and Ickx and so many more. They are all heroes to me

As far as drivers I've actually seen race at Le Mans, I'm with Matt, King Klaus. I was a big fan of 1978 winner Didier Pironi and saw him race several times but not at the Sarthe. Superswede was my god growing up, only made one LM start in 1970. Of the current crop, my favorite is probably Ron Fellows. Never been able to stand JJ Lehto after the little temper tantrum he through a few years ago at the Petit when he refused to join co-driver Jorg Muller on the podium after Muller spun while leading with a few laps to go at Road Atlanta and they finished second, incredibly childish and undignified. Couldn't agree more - JJ's a homo. What about good old Stucky? Fax gave me his old underpants I think.

Good call Fax, Lehto was a total fairy behaving like that - like he never made a mistake. I must admit, it was a terrible blunder by Muller - but how differently would JJ have looked if he's consoled him and stood by him as a team mate, rather than flouncing off to his motorhome, the f**k*ng whuss.

As previously mentioned, both Matt and I both rate Klaus Ludwig among our favorites. Personally I've seen Klaus race many times, he was a IMSA GTP and GTO regular during the eighties driving for Ford and was in many ways their "hired gun" much like Ron Fellows is today with Chevy. It was quite common for Roush Racing to call in Klaus as a "ringer" when they needed some help their GTO or SCCA Trans-Am campaigns in addition to his regular GTP schedule. As a person I met him several times in various paddocks and always found him polite, friendly and willing to chat or answer a question. A terrific ambassador for the sport as well as being one hell of a racer. Fax
