Sitting here in a funky hotel in Manhattan I must admit that I hear a calling in my bones from a long way to the East.  This is 2nd time in 16 years I've had to take my leave of the event and I know I'll be thinking of the fun when next weekend rolls along.

A safe journey to all and hope you all have a fantastic time!

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks Dave, cant be easy.
Where are you in Manhattan, we went in Jan - hope it's a bit warmer now (-8 deg), fantastic city though, so full of energy. Stopped at the Edison just off of Broadway on 47th, orginal Art Deco and $75 at night, has to be my favorite city.

Likewise - stuck in my office in sweltering Orlando, whistfully thinking I should be meeting up with Dave at some Delta Crown Room and having a couple of slotters before making our annual trans-atlantic trip.
It's tough having to sit it out, when the race has been a part of my calender for the past 22 years. The only compensation being that I'll get to see more of the race on TV than I would if I was there - small consolation though.
As stated above, have a fantastic time. I know you all will.

Matt, Dave, Fax.
Don't think we've done a Le Mans without all 3 of you!
I'll make sure the crew raise a glass to you guys.
Cheers.
