Guys and girls, change your sterling money into euros now as the the exchange rate is the best ive seen for ages at 1pound to 1.4962euros

This is the commercial rate - tourist rate is about 6 cents lower.  I just got 1.48, but I did change £20k (and NO, this is NOT all for Le Mans)     Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

Don't - to answer you question, I usually take £150-200 worth.  Most major expenditure goes on Credit card.

My kecks, they'll have to last me 5 days, still, just turn them inside out  Wink  Grin

Actually I've gotta get a few Euros tomorrow for the tolls on the way down, oh & pack the (to be confirmed) car!! Grin

Personally I reckon £200 is too much, especially if you use a credit card for fuel & food.

taking about £300 but thats to include food, beer, fuel, strippers, and speeding fines   Grin

For me food/booze/fuel and things have already been paid for! So then maybe £200 really is a lot too much! :S
