Early reports from Saveloy, after making 'one small lunge for mankind', is that it was bleedin' freezin' last night. I think they call it 'taters' round these parts.
He described himself sitting in his tent with three layers of clothing and bobble hat, huddled round a candle.
I couldn't help getting a mental picture of some sort of deranged Bob Cratchet talking to himself and eating unlucky moths and other insects...

I would like to point out that I have never meet or know Savaloy...................

Im still working too, if you can call being a wine merchant work Wink of to Cambridgeshire Tuesday to squeeze into the camper

Wotcher BH,
Managed a smashing Puligny Montrachet last night, and I promised to be on the wagon for at least 24 hours before LM. It's just not natural, is it?

I know what you mean BigH.

Had a very pleasnt Vino Nobile di Montepuciano 1999 Riserva last night myself with a little help ("I have never known a miserly wine lover"). Now do I go for a practise run of a few beers tonight or ...........

Still working, but not as hard as I was this morning.

You lot are lucky going this early. Where not leaving until Friday Morning, Hoefully arriving at MB at about 16.00, if there's any pitch space left.
I am to VERY excited, can't believe we where talking of going in Feruary and now its here.

I know it's sad but I feel like dancing with a banana.

Well I'm not at work due to early retirement, but have a five in the morning blastoff on Wednesday morning and this might be the first time I ever went to Le Mans with the roof up. It is soooooo damned cold over here. Somebody turn the sun "up"! for when I get there OK?

5pm Wednesday leave work - 6am Thursday head for LM. I've been absolutley useless at work this week. I wish people wouldn't keep interupting while I'm checking breakdown cover, insurance, routes, checking certain websites and weather.com
Perhaps on Wednesday I'll park my car at an angle and then sprint across the road at 5pm? Should I make it 4pm to be authentic? Will anyone understand if I do?
