Hi Ian I'm sure Gilles will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it is pronounced Huh-no-dee-air. Nobody pissed themselves when I've pronounced it this way, at least.

To help you choosing, they're two restaurants:
The chinese one...
Restaurant Shanghaï des 24 Heures 33 (0)2 43 84 14 72
... and the classic one
Restaurant des Hunaudières 33 (0)2 43 84 98 14
Concerning prononciation, it could be Uh No dee air (or Mulsanne straight could be easier!!!!)

This thread reminds me of the time when, using my best GCSE French, i ordered a crepe from one of the stalls behind the tribunes, only to be given a coffee!!!!! I tried several times afterwards to see the similarities: crepe - cafe - crepe - cafe - crepe - cafe but still couldn't get it. Perhaps the pikie serving was from Germany or something. Hey ho.

My wife loves the Bon Mamon (is that right) rhubarb jam. So when I was in France along time ago I saw these massive pots of it. Number one husband here I come. Got it home and opened it. Is there that much difference between jam and pie filling.
Also once whilst getting served by the waiter in a restaurant, I was using my best french to tell him that that was suffice (suffire) about three times to just funny looks. I was actually saying ce soir (tonight).
Must have thought I was a raving florist.

Just to save your wedding, it's not "Bon Mamon" but "Bonne Maman" (good mother), because only good mother (and spouses) are able to make jam like this !!!!!!
