I have been asked by our power consultant what type of plug he will require to hook up to the electrics on Houx - for essential beer cooling oof course.
Please advise

Usual French domestic two pronged type I think. That's what the (scarce) pylons on MB have, so I guess Houx would be the same.

If you arrive later in the week you may need an french two way adapter as well as the pylons are often full!

If its like MB site you need at least a 10 way adapter, and lots of gaffer tape to stop other people unplugging your lead.

As you can see in the above piccie, this is the kit we use for Houx.

The orange lead is the cable with the standard exterior round sockets (one male, one female). You then need a two pin plug with female round socket as seen towards the top of the picture. This is what plugs into the hook-up. And we then use a male round socket to standard UK three pin plug socket into which we plug an RCD. These can be seen at the bottom of the pic. We then plug 4-way extension leads into this.

Make sure you take a decent length extension lead with you as well.
