What is the longest unbroken attendance at le Mans as a spectator? I first went in 1983 and this year is my 23rd consecutive year. Which is nothing compared to the chap I met on the startline straight a few years ago who had been to every race since 1953.

Every year since 1994, except last year.
I was going to the Goodwood Festival of Speed (coming from Belgium), but ended up in a ditch when the steering column on my Triump Dolomite Sprint came loose. Never saw Goodwood.
Must be the revenge of the "Le Mans God" for skipping a year.
I'll be back this year !

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!
