Hi Douglas

Have a look in the help section. Its a big bit of green grass not far from the "Porker Curves" but a long walk from Village

Bobblehat Racing will be there, drop by.

It would of helped if I look at wich section I was typing in THIS IS THE HELP SECTION

Getting too excited to read!

Hi Douglas

BSJ, as Bobblehat says is a long way from the village. A free bus service runs every 10-15 minutes during the race to shuttle you to and fro. I walked it in 25 minutes last year.

Porker curves is only a short walk away.

This is my third year on BSJ, so far I have only met good people there. Last year we were pitched up next to Bobblehat and his crew.

Obviously it will be the best site as team booze'n'tabs will be there this year. Just watch out for Tom d-g and his exploding microwave!

Hi Bobble

Saw Tom at the 'pre-planning' do in Wokingham. He is already trying new ideas in the microwave. We will also have a supply of smoke bombs with us this year.

As you say see next week! Grin

We lost our virginity there last year, it might still be lying around if the pikies haven't nicked it Undecided

For a few photo impressions go to http://www.drinkingforholland.nl/fotoos/Le%20Mans%202004%20gallery/index.htm Smiley

Have fun there, one of the few sites where you can have a decent sleep during the night (I didn't, I slept at Porsche from 6 to 9 Smiley)

My motley crew will also be on site from Thursday. Look out for the Grey Alfa with the saltire and aston flags. May also be accompanied with a drunk Glaswegian and his megaphone. I was going to say his large horn but i have learned to not on this forum.

To put this thread on a diffrent tack,

Bobblehat Racing will be heading for the 2nd field. So as you come in from the road with the Track on your right, keep on the road and turn right after the row of trees/bushes. We are aiming to get to the bottom corner. We should be setting up on Wednesday afternoon.

If any fellow CAer's who are getting there on wednesday/thursday would like to head in that direction, we will try to leave some space for you all. But there is a warning: as Tom D-G has offerd to mark out our pitch for us if he gets there first (we will do the same if we get there first), he will be trying to blow things up in microwaves and firing lasers, if you wish to be that close, nothing major happend last year, and the scaring has nearly all gone:o

but then again we could be some were completly differnt thats Le Mans for you!!!!!! Tongue

Hey Bobblehat,

We are also arriving on Thursday afternoon, (4 of us in one car). Tom also should have a couple of tee shirts for me. If we could all camp in the same vicinity that would be cool. It would be like a mini CA metropolis.

As for microwaves and lasers, bring it on, i am officially qualified to operate class 4 lasers and my cohort is doing a PhD on burning things.

Oh to be a scientist.

Whats a class 4 laser - are we talking James Bond? and everybody I've ever met at Le Mans is an expert on burning things, usually cows, pigs, trees tents etc
