Well as none of us have bought any new CDs lately,I expect it'll be various rock compilations and Dire Straits Telegraph Road/Private Investigations when leaving LeMans. Luckily Canada Phil's mate wont be there with his appalling Cajun Musik this year.

Should this topic have been "what cartridges are you taking for your 8 track?"

Nothing probably. The Commer has one of those old gas powered radios but the pilot light keeps going out.

Mister Z, Have you sorted out your wheel bearing problems yet? As opposed to your general bearings which seemed a 'tad on the giddy side' the other night. A fine post by the way, courage under fire, a dedication to duty etc. Or maybe just completely c*nted. It brought to mind my 'second most embarassing post pub moment', first spot being occupied by the surprise lavatory tale, but as it's not really LM stuff, maybe I'll keep it to myself... Finally got my motor back on the road this weekend, also complete with a brand new MOT. This is the first year I've taken out AA cover, so christ knows what I'll actually arrive in. Whatever it is, music, although a great love of mine, will be entirely superfluous. That's usually the first part of the cortex to go. Maybe a little Andy Williams. And about the wheel bearings, don't f*ck around, replace the wheels with skis and take plenty of vaseline. H

H, my wheel bearing are fine now (touches wood), unlike the bearing in my head. The hot starting problem persists though, it's the Evil Curse of Malcolm and Janet. So upon leaving the pub this evening I went to see the local Vicar to ask his help to get it excorcised. Having explained the problem, he told me I had meddled with powers beyond my imagination and best to f**k off son. He had been at the communion wine again.
Hope the Jagwarr behaves this year, unlike it's owner. Oh, will you be bringing Little H this time or have you thought better of it?
PS Why will you have a Little Andy Williams in the car? Will Raoul not be jealous?

I've been making compilations on minidiscs so on the way to LM I will mostly be listening to classic rock, such delights as Deep Purple's Highway Star ("8 cylenders, all mine..." I wish....) Oh, and a bit of folk-rock for those, er, folk-rock moments....

No CD, no cassette, no radio - just the engine, induction and exhaust to harmonise and play tunes with. But if I did, then it would probably be a mix of Blues Brothers, Queen, U2 etc
