Since they can't be that accurate for today from this morning, all posts about weather half way through the months will be totally ignored... Well I may look but only with one eye and with that almost tightly scrunched up to stop me seeing it!

 Cool

If it's any help last year i looked at the forecast on accu weather before we left on the thursday morning. It said THUNDERSTORMS between 11pm 12pm. The sky between  11pm and 12pm of course was a clear sky!!

They've got heavy rain in Le Mans today apparently.  I'm not getting good vibes about this year - think we might be due another wet one!  Must remember to pack wellies!!

The forecasts are not looking to good, but as they change daily i will not worry to much, in fact a I won't worry at all, after all a bit of rain never hurt anyone did it!

But if anyone wants a somewhere dry to watch the start and finish etc, I do have a grandstand ticket for sale!

Sat and sun now forecast as sunny, with the week before the race being very nice.
Hope it stays like this, although i begin to suspect that Accuweather puts out a random selection of weather types regardless of any actual forcasting...

Whatever it does surely it can't be as bad as 2001 and we all survived that.
We are British for Christs sake we are used to Bloody awful weather. A few blackclouds and a drop of rain are not gonna stop me from having a great time it's only water after all.

All these weather forecasts are utter crap. I tell this story every year.

A few years ago I went to New Zealand to watch England thrash the Black Caps at cricket. Just before I left I checked Accuweather or some such rubbish pseudo-meteorological website. It said it was bitter cold and snow was expected. Imagine my surprise, in turning up in Aukland airport some thirty hours layer dressed up as Nanuke of the North for an especially inclement arctic day's seal hunting, only to find temperatures in the high 80 degrees and people walking around in flipflops and shorts. Useless bastards, the lot of them.

It's still going to be a wet week at LM though.
