Fran there have been British marshalls at Le Mans since I started in back in the 80s.
Don't ask me how they get to do it.  Personaly I never wanted to do it when I was Mashalling it's just too good to do mashalling at the event.  Though I have to admit standing at the armco with the Group C cars pulling 200+ on the Mulsane is awesome.  I did that in 87 when some friends of mine were there and I managed to tag agong with them in thier off duty time.  ;-)

Dang... Let me guess, you already have a friend  Sad

Seriously burningrubber, welcome to the forum. If you happen to be around the area of camping houx, feel free to look us up, the flags should be a giveaway, but my area is listed with the map thread. I'm sure we will be able to find a cold beer or two.

Hi and welcome to the club. Although i've never marshalled the Great Race I do the Belgium GP and the 24hr race at Zolder every year, just sent authorisation off for this year. My mates from Spa work on the Mulsanne every year at the first chicane so I may pop down to say hello!!
