We will be going for the 11th time this year, but it's the first time we are staying on the Expo campsite.

Is it any good ? It seems kind of far off on the map.

.......the Expo campsite.

Is it any good ? It seems kind of far off on the map.

It's very close to the main circiut entrance, and has a bar right opposite the entrance to the site.  The toilet block isn't too bad - fixed structure, plenty of wash basins and French-style 'crouchers'.

That's the good news:

There's lots of cattle sheds, which some people don't seem to mind pitching under, and the ground is mainly rock hard.  So take a cordless drill and masonary bits so you can get the tent pegs in.

The Moggie Morgan club commandeer a significant portion of the site, but that in itself is not a problem (I think??)

Hope this helps.

We've been to Expo the last couple of years and it's our favorite now. Close to the main entrance, dunlop bridge, the village (poo bar), pitlane, all of it just 5 mins walking. Allways lot's of nice people there (lots of brits and Danes), nice parties and fireworks in the venings. The cattle sheds are a big bonus when it rains heavily (dry dining area, dry tents).  Thoug obviously illegal, we somestimes hooked to the electricity on this place, but we always had a sparky in our team.

I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.
