Managed to get the larger size tap connector today. Requires either a 1/2 inch hose or something to reduce the size...

Will bring it tonight for inspection! Smiley

Last year on KN the taps had a very large thread - about 1 1/4 - 1/2 inch dia, dont know what this is in BSP size trhough.
Sounds like 3/4 BSP.  You'll have to buy that in Carrefour.

Some places do use a size larger hosepipe than the UK

Yep it's 3/4, and takes 1/2 inch hose. I couldn't find it in any local shops, and when you buy it online and add p&p it comes to more than I really want to pay for simply filling the pool...

But Carrefour isn't open on Sundays!


However you have just given me an idea...I am en France next weekend and could get it then (if it's cheap enough!!! Smiley

Or, seeing as JP has offered, I will borrow his!
