Green Audi's! Not, suggest a visit to Mulsanne Mike's site too see just how Audi they were.

(Oops soap box time and very inappropriate! Sorry) Sad

But if the Audi's could get that fast and that quiet we could all get a decent night's sleep back at the ranch!

We saw the Jaguars win.  It doesn't get any better.

This is my 18th trip, I first went in 1985, but having suffered the disapointment of Jaguar not winning that year (American team) or 1986 TWR (We'll be back) or 1987 TWR I missed the 1988 race as it was very soon after my first son was born. Worked in my favour as it turns out, cause when Mrs Monkey saw my face when we heard the result, she promised she would never stop me from going again. She did though in 1991, my second son was born on Le Mans Sunday. I am delighted to say they will both be with me this year.
Oh I did see the Jag's win in 1990, and that was ten times better than the Bentley's a couple of years ago in my humble.

Totally agree Monkey.    I thought that the Bentley win would have been one of the more memorable years.  I guess it was but for the WRONG reasons.   Since I'm a Porsche person 1982 was one of the most enjoyable years.  The eighties got better and better but then after the Jags won it's not really been the same.

just my €0.02 worth.

Just wish I could have got there in the days when a Ferrari  312p could lap the Nordschleife faster than an F1 car. (Jacky Ickx 1970-7:36.1 )
