Thought i might try to find out if anybody has an ironic moment in in motorsport.
Mine has to be watching Didier Pironi win for Renault in 1978 at Le Mans, then watching him crash to his death in front of me in my fathers boat at Poole bay in Dorset in a power boat crash in 1987 when he gave up motor racing because of the the danger.
