Virtually teetotal? Is that as unreal as virtual reality or is it real virtuality? OK don't ask? Fran will you be at the Tetre Rouge Stella Bar on Wednesday and will I have to fight everyone there to attract your attention? Or shall I just open the sherry bottle?

Gosh look at this it is only thirty days or so 'til I get home again....Whooo hooo! here we come, ready or not.

Perdu - you could always try waving a hot merguez !!  That could attract a bit of attention.

No thanks Granny - I already have one of those!

Might be useful to take a few spares along just in case the queue at the poo bar gets excessive tho.

I once went to LM with a teetotal vegetarian that didnt like cars!!!  Suffice to say he didnt ask to be invited again the following year!  Since then I have learned it is by far preferable to go alone that with an unsuitable travelling companion!!!  Roll Eyes

As Rudyard Kipling put it so well: "Down to Gehenna or up to the Throne/he travels the fastest who travels alone."  (World Rally teams excluded.)

That Mr Kipling knows a thing or two - and he does make exceedingly good cakes!

Sorry to drag this back up again but does anyone know where you buy those metal spikes that farmers use? i.e. the ones to secure barrier tape to.

rob, any good builders merchant, like travis or jewsons etc will have plenty of stock.  they only cost a few pence each, so dont don't skimp amd make sure your barrier is fully erect, stretched thus keeping the dreaded wrinkles and limp look that some barrier fences have.

any troubles nip round to MB and the sortED clinic hosted by Team JPChenet and a quick consultation will have limpness a thing of the past.
