Hello, I am Kate Shaw and I write for RFM Sports; I've been to Le Mans five times and intend to continue going back until I get it right.  Huh  I cover the American Le Mans, Champ Cars, Trans Am and SPEED World Challenge, and the latter is my favourite North American series because it reminds me of what NA$CAR was before it turned into entertainment instead of racing.

I am a staunch supporter of Porsche, Audi and Creation Autosportif, and if my ship comes in one day I will own a Pagani Zonda and hire a fine former sports car champion to drive it for me.

I will be hanging around for the next 6 months or so and I hope to get to know lots of you before, during and after Le Mans.

Indeed, as Smokie says, welcome to the forum.  Cool

Hope you get all the help you require, and make some good friends in the process.

To save us doing a google, perhaps you could post some links to some of your work.

I found one whilst having a quick look. SCCA SPEED GT reigning champ Tommy Archer

http://www.rfmsports.com/LeMans/ChampionAudi/index.htm

There's a link to the work we did with Champion Audi in 2004; you'll also see a link to the Peterson/White Lightning page at the top of the Le Mans page.  Wed did some very good work over the week, although one of our party turned out to be, er, unstable under pressure.

I didn't get an official shirt in 2004, but I do have a nice red and white one that I wear frequently, and I have a 2003 Official shirt. Smiley

I vaguely remeber doing some work(?) with the Goh Audi team on the Friday night last year in some bar in the middle of Camping Houx.

We were taken into the back room and (No not beaten to a pulp, much as Big H would like) and entertained by Serge and his mighty organ.
I was mainly impressed by the tree growing in the middle of the room and out through the roof.

That was even before being plied with alcohol!!!

You didn't happen to see anyone stealing flags off our flagpole at any time during this eh?

Wel you have to admire people who would come into the middle of a large well-attended site and steal eight flags off a 38 foot flagpole without getting caught.  You can also admire the hives they are suffering from if that Gypsy was actually telling the truth ...
