Hi everybody,

last weekend we had our first planning meeting for Spa (just a day-trip) and Le Mans (as usual on Expo from thursday till monday). A van has been hired, the cooling trailer as well  Grin Grin Grin and we're looking forward to meet some of you again in the poo bar.
Just a question: Haven't been to Spa since the horrible 1000 km race in 1985. What are the best places to watch? Is Eau Rouge still OK?

Cheers

Werner

Hi Werner,

Last years' 1000k-race was so quite, it was watched by us from about everywhere on the circuit. We took about three hours to walk all around. Started at Eau Rouge and ended upon the grandstands in front of the finish line.
Small bars were everywhere around the circuit, no excuse to get thirsty!

We'll be at the beer bar on top of Eau Rouge before the start, I'm bringing my little flag to see if we can get it onto MotorsTV Grin

Hi Paddy,

Where exactly is the beer bar at Eau Rouge? Outside or inside the track?
Cheers

Werner

Outside the track, it's actually just a small wooden caravan Grin
Simply on top of the hill, next to the large advertisement boards (which we will to cover by our little flag Grin >> )

I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Me too, Andy. We'll arrive at the track about 11 a.m. on Sunday, just for race day und plan to watch the start and the first one or two hours at Eau Rouge before doing the hike around the track

Cheers
