So I mentioned the Pope in relation to a funny incident at Sebring that involved several Club Arnage members and it looks like the moderator has pulled it !  Huh

Obviously someone hasn't got a sense of humour.

I found it really funny that when JPC asked Andy Zarse where the other part of his Viper hood was, and was pissed off to be told that it was on the Pope guys camp site. JPC asked why he had left it there and Andy replied " I'm sorry, I'm a coward, when the Pope came out swinging a 12 " double ended dildo in my face, I ran, and the viper hood piece got left behind. If you want it back, you go get it !"

Best statement of the weekend !

I pulled the post 1) because I didn't fully understand it (I guess you had to be there...?) and 2) given there are 60m (or 100m, depending which paper you read) Catholics in the world, we must have a few on CA and I thought the specific heading and wording of your previous post may have caused some offence. I even wondered if it was written under the affluence of incohol... Undecided

From your post above it's now clearer what happened, and also it is worded differently so it can stay.

Oh, and while we're on the subject I'm sure there will be a plethora of Pope jokes in the not too distant future. I'd sooner they didn't appear on this board.

So, over-moderating maybe - but then, I'm the moderator - so I can do what I like. Best bit is, I don't even have to account for my actions!  Wink

More power to your elbow Smokie.  Time and place for everything.  This board is neither the time nor the place!!

I'm a Catholic (very lapsed...) and don't take it seriously but I agree with Smokie and Delboy, maybe not here nor now.

I didn't catch the post though.

I don't think JP would mind the humour, but even so...

  Shocked

I do have a photo of the said Sebring bunch and the aforementioned item, but decided not to post it due to the attire of the chap in light of the current situation.

I'm normally one of the first to enjoy a good laugh at others misfortunes and untimely deaths (I love The Darwin Awards) but in light of all the good the Pope has done over the years, even I wouldn't want to see jokes about him appearing on the forum.
