You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

All you Brits with a keen eye, note that the 'vette is leading the Aston in that pix, that's not a coincidence but lap speed fact.
I just got an email from Johnny O'Connel..."I'm sure we'll have things sorted out by Le Mans...it looks like we just had a bad batch of rotors.   Le mans is an awesome experience....I'm training and looking forward to it already.....all the best.."
I'm sure they will come with guns loaded, as they say here in Texas, and the "vettes" will be leading more than you see in that photo.
Seriously, I think Le Mans GT1 class will be one of the most exciting matchups for quite some time.  The Aston's are great machines and are to be commended for their win at Sebring but they will need to pump up the volume if they want to cross the line first at 4PM on Sunday.

Erm John, didn't you know the 57 Aston took the fastest lap record during the race, once some decent rubber had been laid down on the track. I'm sure the smoother track at LM will suit it just fine.  Wink

...and they stayed at Sebring during Sun/Mon to give the cars a further 12 hours running without any changes to ensure they should last the distance...
