Any news on the grapevine about who Johnny is driving for this year??

Autosport had a couple of hints in this weeks issue, either:
1) The new MG ZT DTM racer (which will give him the race weekend, but not pre-quals off)
2) A ride in the new LMP2 Lola for RML (I think??)

From the the fact that both were small news snippets & his name was only mentioned in passing there may be something else he's planning.

In (almost) related news & for the sake of his CA reading fans. Jamie Davies is apparently close to doing a deal to drive for Maserati this year.

That's interesting Chris as I believe JH has been involved with the Maseratis as well.

Could it be no small coincidence that JH hasn't been announced with anyone yet and at the same time the ALMS organisers have given the Maserati the go ahead to compete in the ALMS this year.

Could we see the LMES Championship winning team of Herbert and Davies together again!!??

im keeping my fingers crossed that jamie and johnny will both sign for maserati, i love the pairing of them too,im also praying they will do the alms instead of lmes, then when veloqx bring out a team for lemans 2006 with the new audi ,i believe they will both be paired again.

I agree with you Donny that it would be good to see the two paired together again. JH is obviously a proven driver and Jamie Davies in MHO was one of the stars of LM and the LMES last year and has a huge future in the sport. As per the other thread though (there may be trouble ahead) I hope they don't go to the Massa as it is not a proper GT1 and doesn't fit the rules. IMSA may have "invited" it to take part in the ALMS races, but the LMES definately won't let them in!!
