Sebring WARNING !

Several people attending the Sebring ALMS winter test this week were given a ticket … speeding ticket that is.

It would seem the new Sheriff in Highlands County hates race fans, and is out to prove it.  The detour entrance off of Hwy. 98 is being utilized as a 25 mph speed trap to raise some revenue and alienate race fans (there’s only one speed limit sign, and by the time you see it, its too late).

The Moral of the story: If you are attending the race in March, BEWARE. They will be do everything possible to give you a ticket on both roads leading to the track March 16-19

Looks like he drives a Dark Blue Ford Mustang with lights in the bonnet vent from the photo on Sebringfans.com. I am willing to bet that the Ferrari he is giving a ticket to was going well inexcess of 25 mph !

I hope Buford T. Justice doesn't get too serious about this, he'll piss off a bunch race fans and as a result, a bunch of local business owners.  He'll find himself voted out of his job as fast as he got it.  But in the meantime be careful guys...
