Well it looks rather nice. It also looks rather like a DB9, but that's no surprise I suppose. Disappointing, but not a surprise.
Wouldn't it be just great to see this head to head against the Aston at LM, and Jaguar back to their spritual playing field of racing sportscars? I'm not sure it will happen though, I mean, just look at the colour of the car, what sort of colour is that? Maybe it's going to be released in San Fransisco, or Brighton, first. I had a bathroom suite in the eighties in that colour.

No, I disagree. It doesn't look rather like DB9, in my opinion it looks absolutely identical to a DB9 with the side vents from an MG SV.  As you say, all rather disappointing.

I have all but given up on Jaguar management ever using its collective brain, hence all we seem to get from them is a series of identical yet bland concept cars.  And finally, when will they ever get their thick heads around the idea that they should be a producer of fine sports cars and the motor racing circuits of the world is their natural home?  They seem to have forgotten what used to make mention of the name Jaguar get the heart beating a little faster.

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

I agree with you on the shitty colour H, but I reckon it would blend in well on MB after what I have heard about the ladyboys and the like who frequent that particular campsite, not at all like the real men on HA.

Well, that doesn't seem to be a straightforward question for the dudes at Jaguar. The press release I read was a load of tosspot marketing phrases badly cobbled together:
"a physical expression of the new direction for the next generation of Jaguars"
"there is an honesty and understated luxury to the interior"
"compelling performance and technologically advanced aluminium architecture"
I note from the photos that the show car is left hand drive and automatic, so I think we know what market they're aiming for.
It's all a bit sad really, I bet William Lyons is red-lining in his grave.

Looks like it's been designed specifically for the slightly less bling end of Rodeo Drive.
The words, "Poor Mans Aston" and "cop-out" spring to mind - but it'll end up being a nice car, undoubtably - though notthe kind of car I'd be pissing down both legs for.

I think you'll find the marked out pitches are in Houx, it is every man for himself in the Annexe if it is anything like it was when we used to stay there..
