As for the cooling of the beer, last year we pitched a tent just for beer and wine, if we can find the space (difficult with S2000's, TVR's and 350z's) then we might pick up a Costco cool box.
Rick were you the lot in the second field in Beausjour last year with all the S2000's??
I was with the group near the track with the Pug 206 & MG ZR that enjoyed your "driving skills" on Sunday evening....  Wink

We tend to find the boot of my ZR does a sterling kept the beer fairly cool, just dunk it in some cold water in the morning & it stays cold(ish) for most of the day!!!

Do CostCo have any smaller ones?

The grand plan for this year is to carry the Sprite's spare wheel on the natty new boot rack I've acquired.  This will more or less double (I kid you not) our boot space and a little cooled storage would be great.  I guess I'm looking for something about the size of one of those mini fridges or maybe a bit bigger but top instead of front loading.

Anyone know where I can get something like that at a keen price?

Not in the 'Maxcold' brand, but they had several other smaller coolers including some with wheels.

Hi Werner,

Are you guys on Expo? this year? I'll try and stop by for a cold one!

Regards

Andy Z

Hi Andy,

yes, we'll be on Expo again this year, arriving Thursday evening. If you can make it there, yes, there's a cold beer waiting for you then (or two, or three...). I'm sure we'll meet also at Champaign-Bar on saturday???

Any other CA Forum members on campoing on Expo?

Well this is my cold beer problem solved.  I'm on Expo as well so will wander along and drink yours!

By the way I have a Electrolux gas fridge but somehow its got broken.  The hinges are broken, anyone know where one can get it repaired or is it the scrapyard for it?  Having said that I assume gravity will keep it shut, so it should work ok anyway, just be more difficult to open.

Umm, yes that would be us. Maybe not one of our finest moments.

However the burning ceremony that followed made up for it. Smiley

We're back in BSJ, mainly because we can a) hoon around if we feel like it and b) Speedchills are there for the brekkies and pints of beer.

Disappointingly, if you search for three way on google it doesn't appear to find any porn sites!

Nah.... you just didn't try hard enough!   Grin

I just bought a three year old Hotpoint freezer off eBay for £26. I went to collect it last night and told the woman what I wanted it for, i.e. cool beer at Le Mans. She replied that this was the first time she had heard anyone speak about Le mans in years. She went on to tell me about when she was a teenager backpacking in Europe in 1960's with a friend. They were just north of Le mans and hitching a lift. A vintage sportscar (thinks it might have been a Bentley) stopped and offered them a ride. The driver turned out to be non other than John Frankenheimer, the director of the film Grand Prix, later Ronin and French Connection II. By all accounts he was a great bloke and when they all missed the ferry he put them up for the night in a hotel. Apparently there was no monkey business either before you ask! He was a bit miffed when the girl hung her rucksack off one of the vintage car's headlights!  Embarrassed
