Saw this on the BBC.... Have also put a link to the Alan McNish site as well....

Champion could take some beating this year with this line up of cars and drivers.....

That's quite a surprise as I thought Johnny would be driving for them this year......especially after he did the last couple of ALMS races with them at the end of 2004 (and took a 2nd and 1st at the Petit and Laguna Seca respectively)

Surprises me too, Johnny's been a off & on member of that team for a couple of years now.  Could be that he's got something lined up that we're not aware of yet...Indy Cars perhaps?
JJ's been the anchor of that team for several years but Kristenson will keep him honest.  Frank, when they call you in for fuel...STOP FOR FUEL!

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

Could have something to do with saving costs for Audi. They have Allan McNish on contract for the DTM Audi anyway and may want to save Johnny's salary.

I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

Good to see Audi UK will have some input as well.

Herbert drove a MC12 in the last few races of the FIA GT series last year. Maybe his name is on a contract with them next near. This would sadly rule him out of LM as the MC12 is not within the rules and mazza won't make a new one this year.
Todt would be unliky to release him to drive for anyone else

OR he is going to drive an Aston Martin!

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

If he is under contract, what happens if they put him into a Fiat 550 in GTS. Then who do we support!?!?   Shocked
