They'll be a bit impractical to wear when you're out cycling though Rick  Undecided

Still, good auction, just as well it wasn't a Bond Bug  Grin

Thanks chaps!

XL? My standard size these days Phil, honest!! All this cycling lark is working wonders. Would have gone down a treat with the Bondy too wouldn't they Steve - very retro!!

Not quite sure if I'll ever wear them but I can always use them when working on the bikes!!  Grin

Nice pick-up there Rick.  As someone who collects racing memorabilia that was a hell of a deal.  That would probably set you back about three hundred bucks from a dealer.  Never ceases to amaze me how sought after the Silk Cut Jag and Rothmans Porsche stuff is, even after all these years.

Rick,
At Sebring you would probably be able to wear that until about seven thirty in the morning, after that its t-shirts and shorts.  As you know, Rolex is another matter, there have been evening's where I would have have killed to have a nice heavy set of overalls on.

Might just get the chance to put the theory to the test this March!

Got free accomo and transport sorted and a certain Florida based team keeps offering to pay for a flight (if they race!) so just maybe given the right circumstantions (one of my favourite Spoonface-isms) I could try it out at an early opportunity  Grin

If you get the chance to go to Sebring, by all means jump at it!
You'll love it, simple as that.  Its got Smokie and Chris...hook, line & sinker.

I know it makes sense - it not me that has to be convinced. Even Le Mans is being questioned this year!!!!  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

Not been earning too many pennies recently. Two of the six bikes are having to go (apparently that will still be 3 too many!!).

Gissa job!

And of course buying things like old mechanics overalls won't help either (it's not common knowledge in the Wilson household yet!!).
