OK, I know most will either already know about this or have already booked elsewhere.

But this evening I booked my ferry for next year with Hoverspeed, Dover to Calais for £49 return. Needs to be booked before 21st December to get this deal though.

For the offer, look at www.ferrysale.com

I decided to have a change and ditch the lads and the mini bus and go in the car next year and just take my brother in law who is a Le Mans virgin.  Works out cheaper, is a more comfortable journey, and alot less hassle.

Regards
Chris

Doesn't really bother me, as i have to travel from Lancashire, so any port on the south coast is a bloody long way for me.
The extra 100 miles or so on the other side from my usual route is a bugger though, but when weighed against a price difference of at least £100 for the ferry or £20 in fuel. Then i will take the extra mileage any day.

Only other bad thing, is that we were going to travel down from Hull where my brother in law lives, on the Wednesday night and stay at his parents in Essex. But i now have tickets to see Motley Crue at the MENA in Manchester on the Wednesday evening. This means driving to Hull from Manchester after the gig and setting off down to Dover at 3am instead and not getting any decent sleep. But its a small price to pay to see Motley Crue live.
