Would someone tell me how to quote someone when posting as I am ballsing it up every time. Surely it can't be as hard as I am making it

Hi Bob
From one illiterate to another, it took me a little while to work it out.

First to start message click QUOTE in the top right hand corner of the message you want to quote on, NOT the reply button.
This will bring the other members message up in a reply box, you can then edit the quote as long as you leave the quote in brackets at the end and the blurb in brackets at the start.
Then just type your comments underneath. Smiley

Bob,

Go to the Edit Profile screen by selecting 'User' on the toolbar at the top of the Club Arnage screen. Enter your password in the required box, then press the 'Tab' key.

Scroll down to where it states 'Personalized Picture' and in the selection box on the right select '(no pic)' then go down to the next option 'I have my own pic' and click in the box - this will place a tick there.  Then type the directory and filename of your chosen picture file in the adjacent box.

Note: include the full path and filename, including the file extension. If the file you want is on the internet just copy and paste the url.

As it states in the notes the picture must be either a .gif or .jpg file type.

When you've finished click on the 'Change Profile' button at the bottom of the page. This will confirm the changes and shows them in a preview screen.

Hope this helps.

edited to add reference to entering password - oops

Bob, having 'interogated' the file name you have set for your personal pic, this appears to be http://www.pilbeamracing.co.uk/nw131202.html

Now, this is a link to an HTML web page and not a picture (should be 'jpeg)

The Pilbeamracing page has some nice photos (courtesy of Rick Wilson  Wink ).  If you 'right click' on the photo you want and select 'properties' this will give you the full file name for the photo you want (eg http://www.pilbeamracing.co.uk/01lm0435.jpg ) - copy / paste this into the CA personal pic section.
