Was looking through the www.SebringFans.com members galleries and came across a beauty...
Check out 311unity13B's album and look for the Panoz School open track day at Road Atlanta.  The poor bastard with the Lambo clearly got it all wrong exiting turn 12.  Have a hard time explaining that one to the insurance agent.

I've seen this on another forum before Fax.  Serious shunt there after the bridge.  Car hit the concrete on the infield side and obviously f**ked-up someone's day.  As I've told you before, I bottled out on that turn every time.

Bizarre the way the skid marks veer so sharpy to the right, must have been a huge impact to have f**ked the car like that.  Dave, you obviously know better than I but your hauling along at a pretty good clip at that point...Yikes!

What I can't understand is why he's losing it where he is - it's way before turn-in for 12 so he either was completely pear-shaped as he crested under the bridge, or he had a mechanical.  I've debated this on another forum and there was no concensus.  It's pretty uneven surface out to the left but nothing that would put you into that much trouble.  Either way, he didn't drive it home!

Given that the car appears to have made a hard right when it should have been being loaded up for an off-camber left. Maybe there was another car involved in this incident - either way, a rather unhappy conclusion.
James Jakes has secured a drive in the Rolex 24 in a Phoenix Promotions 911 GT3 - all areas credentials are assured as a result. Dave, Fax - either of you up for this?

Hi Matt,
Jesus I'd love to but I'm afraid the bike and a new hot water heater for the house have put the kabosh on my Daytona plans.  The hot water heater crapped out on me a few weeks ago and I'm not rugged enough to make it through a Cincinnati winter taking cold showers every morning.  Sebring's obviously on though.  I'm going to go ahead and call Sebring and get the passes in the mail, if Andrew decides to come along we'll add him later.

Hi Matt,
I found this quote to confirm your point of view.
"The 2 most important events in all of history were the invention of beer & the invention of the wheel.
The wheel was invented to get man to the beer." Shocked Grin Grin

8)Speaking of a growing list ...............
I have orders for 5 tickets from three countries and three British 'counties' to be left at the 'will call' area at the main gate.
Anybody else want a ticket payable when you get there??. (ain't I the honest one)  Grin They must be ordered by Feb. 28 in order to save $10.00
Check with Smokie. He and I are in touch. If you do want me to order them for you I'll need complete names and addresses so you can pick them up when you arrive. Cool

Hi Pidge

Do you get a $10 discount off the Pit Box ticket prices too??

Andy, Steve and I are meeting tomorrow night to book our flights and confirm plans/dates etc (along with Smokie for his in depth knowledge  Wink) so we should be able to confirm what tickets we need and when by Sunday!!
