Ouch! 4 different quotes I got were all about 5% down, must be down to popularity of times and ports Still paying £177 for motorbike + 1 person though. If anyone is using Dover/Calais and wants a bargain price, £50 for car and 4 people PM me, don't want to advertise it to much in case offer has limited availability.

Just had a quote for car+trailer+4 people, out Wed back Monday, £392.
Cost us £259 for P&O, same days, on fastcraft last year.
As it's the last time I will ever cross the Channel in June, I'll have to pay.

I can recommend a good all night cafe You're right JP, if we go to Deauville, realistically, what are the chances of us being at Caen at 08.00? So I've just changed the booking to come home on Monday at 17.00. And I've saved £45 off the fare!

That'll be an intresting aroma on the ship then , or is someone on MB taking a washer-dryer with them this year

No need for a washer/drier, head straight for the aftershave testers in the duty free. Dust, sweat and BBQ fumes mixed with the heady aroma of "Chanel Por Homme". Pompey immigration get your NCB suits ready.

Why? Smokie, I got fed up with the ferry companies' ever increasing prices. Actually, about 4 weeks after the race, I am retiring to France, either to Charente or Limousin, so I will only have a 200 mile (French) road trip to worry about every June. Will also be able to make pre-quals as well. Will be able to make some money doing Plonker Ecclestone impersonations! So you can stuff Blair and Brown up where the sun don't shine - I've had my fill of them and a lot more things about the UK!!!! DB
