At £45 it's maybe a bit expensive for a one off but you'd look good in it at the 'poo bar too!!!!   Grin

and lastly, I'd really like to know what Andy Zarse's seemingly unhealthy obsession with gimp masks is all about, and why he thinks I'd ever put one on (let alone go out to a party with it).

What's unhealthy about a gimp mask I'd like to know (unless you shut the airpipe off, in which case one might die)? I'm not obsessed, merely curious to understand why people wear them.

However, what was definitely unhealthy was the state of you when you emerged from the spare room on sunday morning. And you appeared slightly restless during the night.

Shame it's a pimp outfit you're looking for. Otherwise you could have had a real cowboy outfit - Jaguar.

Hey good idea KPY. I'm sure I've still got a purple Silk Cut TWR Jaguar jacket and baseball cap somewhere. To my mind there was a whiff of wideboy pimpishness about the sponsorship and branding in those days.

Yup, and Big Tom turned out to be something of a fake despite the wins at LM. Don't trust rugby-playing Scotsmen who say "trust me ", any more than south London car salesmen who say the same thing and piss off with the rights to F1 in perpituity for nowt.
So purple and white silk could make a pimp outfit.

How was the bash, Gib? Went to a 50th myself on Saturday, where there was also a vat of Harveys. Andy and I were given the task of finishing it off - although, I was told it would reduce wastage, but I still felt pretty wasted afterwards... Roll Eyes

Steve.

The bash was brilliant with everyone making a superb effort to turn out nicely.  Great fun on the 8 lane Scalextric with special Le mans challange for the race goers in attendance.

Champagne breakfast the following morning, followed by more beer in the social club at lunchtime.  It really all got rather fuzzy in the end.

Sounds like your do was fairly awesome.
