Whilst driving through a less salubrious area of Crawley, I stopped at the traffic lights.  A young woman offered to wash my car windows while I waited. While distracted, another woman opened the back door and stole everything she could grab, jacket, wallet briefcase etc..

Be warned, they are very well organized. Don't look at them, they try to divert your attention. Don't leave your doors or windows open if you  drive up to a red light!

Fortunately, I managed to get a couple of photo's of them on the camera in my phone, posted below:

Good job you had your camera to hand.....those pictures should help the old bill with their enquiries!!!!!!

Joking apart. I would'nt mind betting that they were of eastern european origin.A customer of the mine who works in the Met said that the immigrants were doing this type of theft all over London as well as robbing the parking meters.

And to cap it off. When they are caught they can't speak english(Ho Ho)........only when it suits!!!!!!

They are bailed and released.....and what do they do.Yes......you guessed.....they dissapear for a few months and thn reappear a couple of months later only to be caught again and so the saga continues.
My personal feelings is that if they are caught. They should be deported sraight away without any appeal.

Andy, which of the many 'less salubrious' areas are you referring to?

From a research point of view, I would very much like to know just where this photo was taken.

Just for the record, the theft bit was a joke!

Photos taken at the new topless carwash in Bewbush, just round the corner from the horrible Dorsten pub (where miraculously, there seems to be no boarded up windows at the moment!). I'm surprised you guys haven't read about it in the local press recently, what with all the argy bargy over the morality etc. The best load of provincial hypocricy I've read since they opened an Ann Summers shop in Horsham shopping centre.

Now I know your pulling my leg, there is no way that girl is from Bewbush.

That ann summers shop is a sin, you will go blind if you enter.
