Is it just a rumour,at present, the provisional date was 10/11 June but I understand the ACO have been approached by the American teams to move the prequal and the race closer together so they only come over once? So the new plan is prequal 4/5 June race 18/19 June?
Can't see it happening myself, but with the ACO anything can happen.

 Shocked NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

We've had to plan my sisters fiancee's stag do around Le-Mans this year, on the basis that if he's still at the stag do stage, he can't be getting married that weekend :-D

This rumor also arrives to my ears, here at le Mans.

Decision could be taken just after Spa...

... it implies that racing teams will stay 3 weeks longs in La sarthe, which is quite interesting for american racing teams.

Three weeks, all that beer?  Hmmm, I've got three weeks paid holiday coming this year....Been a couple of years since I've been to the Sarthe.  Smokie, we'll sink a few cold ones for you at Road Atlanta in a couple of weeks.

I had a phone call from the ACO on Wednesday. They say that the 18/19 date is 99% sure.

I hope everyone will have corrected...
... the race will take place on 18 & 19 june.

I don't know why but something make me think the Unofficial LM Tourist Board will have some extra work this year, finding some extra activities for your 2 weeks stay.

Gilles

I do not challenge your word, but where does your information come from?  We need to be totally certain about this before we start making arrangements.

Merci mon ami
