Good afternoon CA, I trust we are all well. With nothing to do until Flame and Thunder I wondered if anyone had any recommendations of petrolesque events to attend in the meantime. bird x

Poo. Am off to get cultured up this weekend by watching the RSC's version of Lear. Nice idea though, thanks!

Arh, a spot of culture. I remember this from school. Sadly, I'll be sitting on the Pod banking drinking beer

This Sunday will be the final round of the Gurston Hillclimb Championship....funnily enough at Gurston Down near Salisbury.
The "Burgundy Beast" is currently in second place in the championship and Ian is hoping for rain,as the current leader is about 5 seconds slower in the wet......which means Ian could just clinch the championship again for the second year running.
Come along and support him on Sunday.
Practice runs start at 8:30 and the timed runs start at about 13:00

May well be down with some pals. Not many excuses as I live just 15 mins away. Mostly depends on hangover as it's Clive's 50th. Will be in Vauxhall hospitality suite if the head holds out. Rusty

Sorry mate, can´t make it this time as am 2000 miles away enjoying much beer and sunshine . Looks like Ian is going to get the weather he asked for, according to him you´re going to need your waterproof gear and a kite to pass the time...... Give him my best for the championship assault. Talk to you when we get back. Enjoy the weekend at Gurston.
