I organise on Sunday 12/12/04 a classic and sport car rally, no time but orientation and navigation competition.

There's a specific trophy for foreign cars.

I may host you the saturday night before, just let me know by advance.

Anyone interested?

It costs only 35 euros each person for the sunday roadbook, breakfast and lunch (and the trophy if you win it) and accomodation and saturday trip is an option.

No because the Commer is hibernating at that time of year.

But thanks anyway.

Yes, I could be up for this. It'll be an excuse to get the sheepskin and Fishermans Friends out.
Gilles, who's going to be doing the body searches for the hand-held GPS sets?
Keep us up to date with info.

Gilles, can you give a little more information about the event please.  Will it be in the Le Mans area?  is it just one or more days for the driving etc.  If we can get enough people we could add some other interesting things to do on the way down and back, a good French Sunday lunch etc.

This classic car rally is a navigation competition which will take place on sunday morning. It's going to be a 60 to 80 kms ride with some tricky stuffs, questions to answer, hidden stuffs or indications to find,.....

The sunday event will finish by a lunch in my castle and the prize giving, allowing everyone to drive back home on sunday late afternoon. For example, the price for a night in the castle is 60 euros for a single bedroom and 90 for a double bedroom (breakfast included).

For people coming as far as most of you, I can arrange accomodation in the castle or in some other hotels and we can also fix up some saturday leisure, such as a private visit of the museum, a kart race,...

The MINI is out.

At this rate it will still be in the welding process.

Maybe next year.
