Isn't that the Carrefour...let me rephrase that....isn't that the beer and wine temple at the south side of Le Mans?

Lads...gimme a break(or brake)...don't go for this Chenet radiator fluid but try some decent stuff...there is a wine-trader at the round-about just before the TGV station that sells you good stuff for the same price as the sewerwater in the Carrefour...

Bartus(who can also advise the scrambled eggs next door)

I'm not sure what confectionary and the Olympics can do to help improve the LM Knowledge data base on this site, but...
I've often thought that the relay races would run much more smoothly and provide more entertainment if the the runner with the baton stuck it up the next runners *rse at the change over point, instead of trying to pass it into his desperate hand. It would certainly get him off the mark pretty sharpish and would also mean that they would have no need to provide excuses ("it was all that emotion Sally, I just filled up..") for that startled expression they all seem to wear as they head towards the line. There would also be more sponsorship opportunities for those "special lubricant" and hand-wash companies, rather than just the usual boring old sportswear stuff.
I'm sure the pole-vault and hammer throwing events could be brought more up to date as well (I mean, have you actually tried putting in a nail with one of those things?!?).
