I think you should also ask people to guess the whole of the number plate as it clearly ends in BER.

My guess is NOB BER

No, its not one of the T.W.A.T.S.  We might do some stupid things at Le Mans but drive a Trev into the gravel trap?  I dont think so.

Good car chcked by Mole Valley - few bits and pieces need to be done but for this money and having a two year warranty very happy

In fact he's that  deleriously happy he forgot to mention that the bits and pieces that need to be done include getting rid of that annoying rattle that some how just sounds like gravel stuck behind one of the panels

and big sweaty hand prints on the boot from when it was pushed out

Can't tell you who it is I am afraid but it puts me in mind of one of my favourite Le Mans moments.

Picture the scene... typical post-race weather but in the days before air-conditioning in cars was common.  The queue to exit the Green Car park from the Bugatti circut was getting longer and longer and tempers shorter and shorter.  Eventually one poor race-goer could handle it no longer.  The guy in a very expensive Mercedes sports pulled out of the rank and headed at speed for the exit gate in the corner.  Clearly he was going to take a slightly unusual if he was to get to the head of the line of cars so a slight jink to the left put him... right into the gravel trap.

Oh how the rest of the queue laughed.  Neither the car-park attendants nor the rest of the spectators felt inclined to help the sod.  The look of shame and embarrassment was there for thousands to see as we all filed past him.  Priceless!

I note from the pistonheads link it was Oct 2003, that year I camped on the bugatti circuit just around the hairpin and remeber the TIV & Porker trying to do donuts etc but failing miserably the pair of them. Also a few youngsters in pimped vauxhalls etc who tried racing each other around the bend, till one got back to their area first handbraked to a stop and the other blue cabriolet slammed straight into the side of it and it wasnt even his car !!!!
