So there was I flicking through the 800 channels of rubbish on Sky last night and suddenly came across a Le Mans preview on Motors TV.  Superb I thought. Immediatley went to the fridge for a couple of cans of WifeBeater intent on starting my own wall as a warm up.

They had quite a good coverage chatting to teams in all categories even the Michelin tyre techniciain.  The odd thing though, there was not a single mention of MG or TVR.  Did I miss a meeting? Are they no longer running?  Talk about bias!  I didn't even see a TVR in the background, and only an MG through a blurred credit.

Still the beer wall was still staning this morning!

(until Mrs Liszt told me to clear it up or I wouldn't be going Cry)

I think Motors TV is a french company so they tend to be biased towards the french teams and drivers.

I saw one the other day and it was about 45 mins of talking to drivers and a brief look at some of the cars.

Probably the same one.
Bit on Bently, Audi, Courage, Racing for Holland, Prodrive Ferrari, Porsches

But come on not a whisper of MG?  It's like the Italian GP when Ferrari came 1st and 3rd.  During the 2nd place presentation (Raikkonnen, I think) he showed the Ferrari pitcrew.

Reminds me of a couple of years ago when the Audi boss was interviewed on Radio LM.  He was bemused why so many people were cheeting for Bently and not Audi, who were winning.

Can you recall what the porgram was actually called. I'd like to look it up in the A-Z listing to see if/when it might be repeated

Thanks

from www.motorstv.co.uk

22:00  Le Mans 24 Hours - Test Day

Before the traditional June classic, this year’s 24-Hours of Le Mans field got a taste of what will come with the first test day on the legendary Le Mans layout. From Audi to Bentley, Corvette to Ferrari, without forgetting the ever so present contingent of Porsches. The Le Mans 2003 class were all on hand and so was Motors TV !

on at 1400 today! or 2300 on Thursday

Your beer was half right !

there's no MG, no Morgan also, and only one TVR...

... plus the covered Audis akas EXSpeed 8!
