OK For those that might make it to Silverstone for the ELMS here are a few phone numbers for Hotels & B&B's

Buckingham Beales Buckingham (***) 9 miles from Silverstone 01280 822622
Travel Lodge Towcester (***) 5 miles - 08700 850950
Green Man nr Silverstone - 2 miles - 01280 850209
The Whale Hotel Buckingham - 8 miles - 01280 815537 (Bobblehats local Grin)
The Folly Inn Adstock - 10 miles - 01296 712671
Harben House Newport Pagnell - 20 miles - 01908 215600 (but its were Aston Martin is)

For the very posh there is

Villars Hotel (****) Buckingham - 01280 822444
Whittelbury Hall (****) Whittelbury - 01327 857 857

Some of the these hotels might give you a discount if you mention "Silverstone Motorsport"

Also try the Northants, Bucks and Milton Keynes tourist websites. Milton Keynes is only about 15-20 away there is all the main chains in the center and around.

If I pick up any more phone numbers for B&B I will post them.

I hope this helps

Well be there as well.......myself and mini wishy.

Does anybody know what the price of campsite pitches are?

Mind you a hotel would be nice.........but camping is what it is all about.....especially with CA members!!!!

Couldn't agree more!

I 've been ringing Silverstone weekly since LM for ticket/camping info, as it looks like the Commer will be weaving her merry way, but they won't say anything yet.(Other than the race is definitely going ahead). Think we might get away with just a parking spot though...

I'll be coming  up and camping as well, Steve good to see the commer's coming, is Andy as well. do they run a champagne tent???
Truffette, depending where you come from from, the tunnel may be a good option, You can get tickets for as little as £11,  that maybe a late return, youy'll need to investigate.

Sav

Yes, Andy's coming, but we're only going if there is a champagne bar!

The LMES race is 2pm - 8pm on Sat, and the F3+GT meeting is on the Sunday, but they're still not giving anything else away. If only us Brits were as organised as the French...

Sav, there should be a few of us there, though I've got to be careful as I'm due to be hearing the pattering of tiny feet this weekend and away days may be restricted for a few weeks.

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

Pheeeey, end of June... otherwise I would say bad timing. Good luck and all the best, Andy.
