Why ask ? If you want to Just do it Last year on my way back to the port there were french kids out by the roadside fully armed with supersoakers etc. Most cars were speeding up to pass with minimum water impact - probably not wanting the water to turn the usual Le Mans dust coating to a mud coating. I pretty much stopped by them. I was baking in the heat and a cold shower was perfect. It also gave a nice wet t-shirt show from my pass seat

That would'nt have been in Alencon by any chance ?
We had kids soaking everybody by traffic lights as you approached the town centre..........only one thing we still had our super soakers filled up and we managed to return the compliment by soaking them as we went past!!!!!

Forunatly Brads not taking his this year after nearlly getting nicked for squiting a bike cop out side blue! said cop stopped his bike, strutted back to the area and asked the poor unfortunate bloke beside Brad who had'nt had the presence to loose his super squirter (unllike brad) in the ditch "if he wanted out". The blokes mouth tried to protest his innosence but nothing legible came out, this confussed cop and eventually he strutted back to his bike to much cheering.

Do whatever you want to do, in my humble op, only remember that not everybody finds it hilarious. I recall a fun-loving bunch driving through Houx last year, spraying water at everyone they passed - fairly light-hearted, but when video cameras, personal belongings, sleeping bags and even beautifully grilled steaks got in the firing line it got a bit ugly. Ugly to the extent that a gallon bucket of water and a few half-full beer cans got hurled into the car from some of the more pissed-off victims. I'd venture that a few teeth would have been knocked out, had the driver not realised the gravity of the situation and stepped on it. Like everything else, it pays to weigh-up the situation before letting fly.

Very good point Matt. "High jinks" are one thing: loutish behaviour could spoil the event for me.

Good point Matt, I tend towards violent over-reaction if I get angry, I can't help it! It goes with the green skin and badly torn shirts every day or two...

In Arnage last year fun was being enjoyed by all. Everyone was being stopped and given the Super Soaker treatment much to the delight of the crowds. I saw one young girl who definately didn't like it. She left with lots of wheel spin but not much control. It's a wonder she didn't mow down a few pedestrians. I'm pretty sure she was not looking at where she was going.

I had a nasty suspicion that these kiddies weren't spraying us with water a couple of year back. so we went last year armed with super soakers filled with warm lager and didn't see one of the buggers.. this year maybe it will be flame throwers.. The lads outside the bars are worse for slinging pint pots of piss into your motor if you are not carefull. Poor old stock car mikey got a face full of it 3 years ago!! Stupid Bloke That would'nt have been in Alencon by any chance ?
