You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

Simon, where did you post your questions ? Usually, the CAers are friendly and helpful creatures.

Maybe a closer look is required.

Your last question , "Campsite" posted on 24/05 has 2 replies.

Enough said I think.

Sorry you feel that way Simon, but a little searching by yourself would have revealed some of the information you require. Please remember this is a free website, administered by volounteers. If you are looking for information about a particular camp site that not many of us have stayed on it is a little hard to give you that information.

Try these for general info and things to do:

http://www.clubarnage.com/yabbse/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=274

http://www.clubarnage.com/yabbse/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=1965

Look here to see fellow CA'ers who are on Karting Nord!

http://www.clubarnage.com/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=1685

Try these clips from other threads:

---------------------
The Brethren, based in Karting Nord, have a tincture especially formulated for your mates' sweet tooth. Rusty calls it 'The Chilli Challenge', and for a small beer or two I'm sure they would be pleased to oblige.

I can testify that it focusses the mind wonderfully. Their knees-up normally takes place on a Friday night.

----------------------

I myself have never camped there. I know Abs has but he's away at the moment. He may be able to share something with you when he's back at the weekend. The Brethren always stay there but they aren't on here much at the moment either.

Hope to see you at the Champagne Bar at 21:00 Saturday night!!??

Most of the advice you requested has already been addressed within other posts or is available at the 'Help' section or within http://www.clubarnage.com/yabbse/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=274

Alternatively, you can use the 'Find' icon at the top of the page with your keywords.

I apologise for my and others delay in responding to your queries.  No doubt I had nipped out to the lavatory or had something else to do like go to work or go to sleep at the time.
I suggest you excercise some patience and understanding.

Whilst the regulars on here (who ARE a really friendly bunch) float around this forum fairly frequently, we do occasionly either :
a) have other things to do
b) have to go and earn a crust
c) maybe haven't the answers to your queries anyway
d) can't be arsed to type up a detailed response as the subject may have been discuused many times before
e) suffering from severe PMT

If you are still unable to find the answers to your compound problems on this forum, may I suggest you just go to Le mans anyway and have a bloody good time.
Alternatively, visit the official site at http://www.lemans.org/univers_accueil/index.html or this site may also be usefull http://www.apa.org/pubinfo/anger.html

kind regards
Steve

Simon P,

I'm sorry you feel you didn't get the help you wanted.

It looks like you have made four posts so far.

This one.  (Could turn out to be a hot topic.)  No need for LOX here :-)

Your post of the 25th was a reply but asked a question so IMVHO was a bit of a stealth question.  So because you don't have an answer in 16 hours (8 of which you should have been asleep)  You say we're unfriendly.

The one one the 24th May that has two replies.  One was mine.
My first statment should indicate my jelousy that you got KN and I didn't.  Plus a few key points.  If you look around you'll find a bunch more posts about KN.

Your post on who what when where is not the place to post a question.  People are only likely to look there if they are looking for who what when or where.

Since you are new to Le Mans and the forum I think you'll find people will cut you a lot of slack.

To answer your questions from my point of view.

You won't be able to get a motorhome in the line next to the track (too many trees) plus people will have been arriving for two days by the time you get there.

Football who cares about that?  Le Mans is about Sports Cars.
But having said that check out the Se7ens on Bleu Limited numbers though.

I have nothing but praise for all the hard working friendly souls who inhabit this forum.

I have, in the past, posted some rather obscure questions, like 'where can I buy a new timer for my washing machine' and without fail, I have received a reply within 6 hours.
Sometimes, the responder has personally phoned me to check whether I am happy with the answer posted and whether I would like him to drop round to carry out a little light dusting and paint the window frames of my house.

On another occasion, when I requested some space be made in another members fridge freezer to store my chips and battered sausages as my own freezer had broken down, I was inundated with kind offers.

I know there are certain regulars of this forum who can do without sleep or sustenance of any type for weeks on end who prowl this forum 25 hours a day just waiting to assist and respond to the smallest whim of new posters, welcoming them with open arms, a kiss and a pint of Kroneburg.

I THROW DOWN THE GAUNTLET.
If anyone is dissatisfied with the service provided by this forum, I will personally provide that person with a portion of chips and curry sauce from by van.

Hoi Simon,
What you playing at. You only first posted a couple of days ago. Give us a chance. If you had persevered a bit and had a good look and put words like 'Karting Nord' in the box after pressing the 'find' button at the top of the page and then football in, your questions would have been probably answered.
You could have even emailed me as lots of people have done already asking for help instead of jumping on us after only 2 days.

Its true what they say about Geordie's. They're all as thick as a whale omlette.

Oh dear I do beleive I may of been a tad hasty, sorry to those offended. Many thanks to those who have pointed me in the right direction (jpchenet, Steve & tmdg) the information given has and I'm sure will be a great help.
I'm sure we will have a great Le Mans and should I bump into anyone who has been of help I will most definately buy you a pint. As for you Stu, Whale Omlette indeed - what a prat!!
