Half way there....

ps: Don't they make cartoon Ducati's? Yeah , they are called 999's I can send you a route thats fun, which port are you going into. I WONT take my bike anymore, due to 3 attempts on my life by local muppets. its safer for me. Also my pillion is blind . |

Probably going Newhaven Dieppe. From there to Rouen, Gace, then left onto the b-roads to come in on the N301. Been recommended by a another fool on a bike.... I'd love to take a twistier route but I'll only dock at 5pm, so it'll be flat on the tank the whole way there to arrive before all the beer's drunk!

Ali, its only 2 & 1/2 hours from Dieppe, going for it. You have good light until at least 9pm. |

I'll be riding down on the weds afternoon from LeHarve, get in about 1430 from Pompey. Dieppe route is a breeze as well good open roads.

Yeah - I,m getting the 8.45 out of Portsmouth on Friday morning - arrives in Caen at 3.30pm - get to LeMans about 8'ish. This is my 5th year on a bike, my sin will be on the back as well. The Bike is a Honda VTX 1800

Managed to squeeze on the thursday 2pm Newhaven-Dieppe so it'll be the late evening chase to Houx Annexe. Luckily some very fine friends are bringing 800 litres of beer, 2 ice-cooled pressure taps, and an ice-making machine (for hangovers, not cocktails!). Should give us something to do until the race starts....
See you on the roundabout on Sunday night.
