Hi there folks,

This is my second trip to Le Mans after a much enjoyed 2003. We're arriving on the Wednesday afternoon and camping at Karting Nord (our pitch will be marked by the competing England / Scotland flags - come and have a beer and say hello).

Just trying to make a list of places to go/things to do this year. Anybody got any ideas for anything that we MUST see/do?   Huh Cool Grin

Hi Stu,

Try Arnage on Friday night,it's a bit of a treck but good fun. Lots of bars and restaurants and cars trawling past with nutters at the wheel.

Also, Tetre Rouge corner is great for sound as the cars accellerate up the Mulsanne straight. You'll remember the noise for years!!

Don't miss getting on the track for the presentation at the end, great atmosphere!

Have a great time........ only 2 weeks to go.....AAAARRRRRGGGHHH I can't wait!

Also - not to be missed - the Germans on your campsite building an unfeasibly tall/dodgy looking scaffold stucture on the trackside of your campsite (with first floor bar!). Our firework safety officer has his work cut out keeping this structure out of range!!!

Stu,

As the team logistics type bloke. I would be grateful if you rechecked the travel arrangements I sent you. I think you will find that we are actually arriving on site on Thursday afternoon.

Mr T, those german guys were camped beside us last year, it certainly was a feat of engineering. What was even better was that they had eurosport on in a shed for the entire duration of the race.

Anyhoo,

Look forward to seeing all you Brits in Karting Nord

Jay

Point taken Jay. All this talk of fast cars seems to have turned my brain to mush, never mind.
