Well after various pm's with DR.I am now the possible proud owner of an Alfa 2.5 v6 Alfretta of 1982 vintage.,which I hope if i can get it going before the end of this summer,I might well take it on an outing to Sparkford.........just to clear any cobwebs out from where it has been storedfor the past 4 years.

Don't forget to add the Timing Strut for that occasional Hillclimb or Sprint

Don't forget to add the Timing Strut for that occasional Hillclimb or Sprint If there's any metal left to bolt it to Still the Alfa's propensity to oxidise and turn back into base metal should do wonders for improving the power/weight ratio.

Does a MkIII Fiat 124 1800 TC Sport, circa 1975, count at all.

Alfa Romeo realisation of the importance of recyling cars at the end of their life, 30 years before other manufactures, still comes back to haunt them. Still miss my 1200 TI Sud, hearing the crackle from the exhaust of DR's Sud last year almost made me start looking for a replacement for my old one. Before you ask, the old one didn't recycle itself, unfortunatly turned into a short wheel base varient after a close encounter with a Capri on the M4 .

Let's see a piccy of the Sud, DR.
Thanks Barry! Look us up again this year - we will be in MB, but a much reduced group this year, not a problem, leaves more beer for us real men. Her ye go - not that recent - she needs a t-cut which should happen this weekend

ooohhh Dreamracer what a sexy little number Lernt to drive in a green 1.3 Sud (4 door) the crackel of the exhust was wounderfull, the fake wood gear knob that whent white over the years and two big dials in fornt of you, but it being typicaly Italian, it hated the cold and damp. We must of been the biggest private buyer of WD-40 in Ipswich. no wounder I failed my test!

Gorblimey Steve, thats a bit teckical innit? Ain't that one of them bloody expensive tommy bar fings wiv a built in ratshit? I used to use one of them but it kept on feeling weird and clicking all the time when I wanted to titen me nuts, so I left it behind on the floor, last time I used it. I saw a little kid run off wiv it shouting to his mates to come an' see what he found, strange some people, ain't they? Bill
