Southampton Portsmouth congestion Thur Fri

People travelling via Portsmouth and Southampton - on Thursday and especially Friday should expect the area to be much busier than normal due some idiot arranging a huge Pop Concert on the Isle of White over LM weekend!! It’s a total sell out so there will be 40,000+ people trying to get over there on the ferries.
On the plus side there will be lots of nubile young girls wandering around hiding puppies in their tee shirts ready to be impressed by your motor – eyes straight ahead please otherwise the kerbs will bite ya wheels.

Tell me you havent booked our ferry from Pompey or Southampton - I DONT WANT TO SIT IN TRAFFIC.

The nubile young ladies are for me only - and I will be driving so that I look cool for them - i'll just say that you are my grandad and that someone MADE me bring you :-)

We're not going on the puke mobile this year - but I can hardly see the festival goers wanting to get on a 10 hour ferry crossing to france.

IIRC the same festival took place last year at the same time - I dont remember seeing any extra traffic, but errrrm - which port did we go from last year??

Dont rhino's. Most of the Wight traffic goes on Mopeds or coaches. PlusThe Southampton traffic wont be too much of an issue .

In Portsmouth, it will get VERY busy Friday afternoon, but thats in Town , not too near the Ferry port.
