I got my first ACO membership card through yesterday (thought I might as well join as the money saved on GA's means the card only costs 6 Euros for the year.....bargain!!)

On the second tab, there is a list of the events they hold and little circles. Would I be correct in thinking that these circles get marked off when you buy a discounted ticket for that particular race?

The reason I ask is I bought 6 discounted tickets at the time I joined (which I collected from the tourist board office at PQ's) but the card seems to be intact. Could I therefore buy another 6 tickets at the gate at the track, or do they cross refernece membership numbers??

Most years they have just punched holes in the card for each discount you get. Last year I got two cards though!!!

My card hasn't been punched and I've had my full quota of discount from the ACO.

JPC, maybe I'm not understanding this fully (and after a few glasses of vin rouge who could blame me?)

Are you saying ther are designated areas on your card that look like they could be punched?

In my experience what happens is that your membership card gets punched through to indicate you have used the facilities of the Welcome centre (and maybe introduced a couple of friends too - as you are entitled to do). The punched holes just prevent any further opportunity to do this.

My card does not have the features you mention. If you have a scanner maybe you could post a picture?
