I am really struggling trying to find a cheap paid of leather pants for my missus. Shall we say she has an ample derrirere.
Only ones I can find are a fortune and she only ever goes pillion and only very occasionally?
Help?

chris , i am a very ken year round type biker.
Have you thought of Hein Gericke ??
Or
BTK Leathers - 01159 224220 made to measure £150 - 190.
Or
what about the Gore Tex ones, they are excellent and cheaper ( but not quite so good for safety )
Do you buy RIDE magazine , if so look in the rear , page 112 onwards , this month.
Or go to Ally Palace or the BMF rally - Peterborough for cheap stuff
A really good and cheap place at the moment is J&S who are nationwide and on the net.
Or Akito leathers, they are good.
Frank thomas has just released a new women only range There ad is page 47 of RIDE this month.
Hope those ideas help.

An excellent list of places there by Robbo for new. Also check out Ebay, my wife has the same chassis as yours so i now how difficult it is. if you see something on Ebay ask the seller loads of questions on size, so get measureing. but ok the shops and bike shows and fairs she can try before YOU buy. Good luck Chris. Look forward to seeing you soon.

I do appologise H for all this talk about posteriors of the female variety.
So I will not divulge the story of trying to get my other half into a pair of bike trousers. Needless to say it did involve a sh*t load of axle grease and a crow bar, but no sucess unfortunately.
